Sel-reflection: My Speaking Lesson

What I think I did well....
The set induction of presenting video clip is interesting and can arrouse learners' interest. The learners got the idea on how to construct sentences by immitating the characters in the clip. By guiding the learners with the suggested expressions.

What I think I didn't do so well....
The procedures of the lesson plan are not clear-in-order. There are some vague instruction especially how many times should the learners present their role-play.

What would I change/ do differently...
I would reduce the number of task given to the learners, such as the role-play and the construction of sentences with the more objective responses. The learners can be asked to drill certain expressions to let them master the command of the language.

What I have learnt....
We shouldn't be too ambitious with our plan that sometimes it can be a fiasco if all the learners are not sure of what they should do. The teacher needs a lot of efforts in guiding and stimulating the students to speak.

Teacher should minimize the task as to make sure all students can anticipate the outcomes. There are difficulties in making sure that all students can speak and it's a consumption of time, though.

The limited number of students in classroom will definitely ensure the speaking lesson effective.
